El Salvador Visa Policy and Visa-Free Duration of Stay

El Salvador Visa Status for Turkish Citizens
Ordinary (Maroon) Passport holders can enter El Salvador without a visa for up to 90 days.
Special (Green), Service (Grey) and Diplomatic (Black) passport holders are also exempt from visa for up to 90 days.
What You Need to Travel to El Salvador
You can travel for touristic or commercial purposes for up to 90 days within the scope of visa exemption. However, you should remember that authorities may request the following documents when entering the country:

✅ Valid passport (Must be valid for at least 6 months)
✅ Round-trip flight ticket
✅ Accommodation information (Hotel reservation, etc.)
✅ Proof of sufficient financial resources (Cash, credit card or bank statement can be shown)

Things to Consider When Entering El Salvador
You may be asked about your travel purpose and return plan at passport control when entering the country.
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for passengers coming from certain countries, but Türkiye is not included in this scope.
Within the scope of the Central American Common Visa System (CA-4 Region), you can travel visa-free between El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua for 90 days.
Extending Your Stay in El Salvador
If you need to stay longer than 90 days, you can request a visa extension by contacting the El Salvador Immigration Office.
